MHS Taps Maui Military Center as HIT Modernization Trailblazer

A $300 million, five-year project to develop new health information technology systems for the Military Health System's Pacific Joint Information Technology Center (JITC) is in the works on Maui.

The Pacific JITC, based in Kihei, Maui, Hawaii, is the Military Health System center for proof of concept and prototyping of information management and information technology products and services to support Department of Defense (DoD) medical readiness requirements and IT modernization needs across the medical continuum of care.
