Google, PwC Bidding for $11B DoD Health System Modernization Project
When Google and PricewaterhouseCoopers announced a business partnership last October, they described the move as an effort to jointly compete for large projects leveraging PwC's consulting experience and Google's Cloud Platform technologies. PwC Announces Google, Inc. is on the PwC Team Bidding for the Department of Defense Healthcare Management Systems Modernization Program
PwC US today announced Google Inc. is a part of the PwC team in the bid for the Department of Defense (DoD) Healthcare Management Systems Modernization (DHMSM) Electronic Health Record (EHR) contract. The DHMSM program will replace and modernize the Military Health System (MHS), which currently supports more than 9.7 million beneficiaries, including active duty, retirees and their dependents.
