The tranSMART Foundation To Hold International Developers Meeting For Its Open-Source Translational Medicine Research Platform

WAKEFIELD, MA--(Marketwired - Feb 6, 2014) - The tranSMART Foundation, a non-profit organization providing a global, open-source knowledge management platform for scientists to share pre-competitive translational research data, today announced that it is hosting an International Developers Meeting February 5-7, 2014 at Recombinant by Deloitte's location in Newton, Mass.
In addition to Recombinant by Deloitte, Sanofi, BT Global, Imperial College of London, and theHyve will sponsor the three-day event. Developers from these organizations, as well as the University of Michigan, Harvard University, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, among others are expected to participate.

The meeting will include an update on the tranSMART platform, discussions on current projects using the platform and development of a programming roadmap for the release of version 1.2 of the software.
