The International Conference on Open Source Systems (OSS 2013) is the premier conference to present research results related to open source initiatives, extending beyond software to include open innovation, open access, open data, open standards, open education, open science, open cloud, open artworks, open hardware, open government and more.
The goal of the 9th International Conference on Open Source Systems (OSS 2013) is to provide an international forum where a diverse community of professionals from academia, industry and public sector, and diverse FOSS initiatives can come together to share research findings and practical experiences. The conference is also meant to provide information to practitioners, identify directions for further research, and to be an ongoing platform for technology transfer, no matter which form of FOSS is being pursued. This years's major conference theme is FOSS Verification.
