The Apache Software Foundation has just released OpenOffice 3.4
Free alternatives to the Microsoft Office suite of productivity tools are much sought after by businesses and individuals alike. Office is quite costly, and Windows doesn't come with a fully featured productivity tool set out of the box.

Worth noting is the significant brand recognition that OpenOffice has among users, it is a mainstay in the open source productivity world, and it's a suite that both consumers and businesses know they can trust.
