Internationalization of OpenEMR

OpenEMR | OpenEMR Wiki | June 20, 2012

The theme of OpenEMR 4.1.1 is internationalization – it will work in 20 languages and will support SNOMED, ICD10 and ICD9 diagnostic coding. The current plan is to potentially release the next version of OpenEMR in August 2012.

OpenEMR is a Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) electronic medical record (EMR) and practice management application that can run on Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, and many other platforms. OpenEMR is ONC Complete Ambulatory EHR certified and is one of the most popular open source EMR systems in use today.

OpenEMR is supported by a strong community of volunteers and professionals all with the common goal of making OpenEMR a superior alternative to its proprietary counterparts.
