The Linux Foundation is launching a new conference called ContainerCon to bring together leading contributors in Linux containers, the Linux kernel, and related projects to forge a path to continued innovation and education.
Linux containers are disrupting traditional application development and virtualization models; enabling businesses to explore new, improved methods of deploying their services and products. New developments in Linux containers are driving the adoption of cloud and virtualization technologies in many industries and ContainerCon will provide a platform for exhibiting the best work. By being co-located with LinuxCon, ContainerCon will bring together a diverse range of experts from cloud computing and Linux containers to offer a general technical conference that is open to everyone; creating a place where companies on the leading edge can network with users and developers to advance computing.
